Norris Robert Thomas Norris was born February 22, 1942 at Baltimore, MD to Thomas Martin Norris and Evelyn Sophia Straub Norris. He passed away Saturday morning, February 27, 2010 at Creighton Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 68. Robert spent a good deal of his life in the military reserves and the United States Army, retiring from the US Army in 2002. He and his wife, Pat, moved to Bedford to be near their daughter. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Evelyn. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of Bedford, IA; son, Rob Norris of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Cynthia Johnson of Bedford and her children Stephanie, Rebecca, Angela, Brianna and Grace; and brothers Raymond, Martin and Dennis. Memorial services with military rites will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Eickemeyer Funeral Chapel-Bedford. There is no scheduled visitation and memorials may be given in his honor.
